The Julian Tucki Fine British designed gentlemans Flying Tourbillon Wristwatch with automatic mechanical movement.
  • Genuine Tourbillon movement
  • Sapphire glass front and back
  • Screw down bezel, waterproof.
  • A modern classic, designer masterpiece
Designed in England by horologist; Julian Tucki this is a limited edition and individually numbered rare, genuine, automatic mechanical tourbillon wristwatch.
Such watches normally sell for £10,000 upwards.

He became so frustrated in his hunt for a genuine yet affordable Tourbillon watch, that Julian Tucki, art dealer and horologist, decided to make one himself!
“The flying Tourbillon movement was actually invented in 18th century France as a way to make timekeeping more accurate” sometimes called a "grand complication" it is still relevant today in improving the accuracy of mechanical watches. The balance wheel rotates in a cage once every minute. This constantly changing position averages out the gravitational force on the watch movement thereby improving timekeeping.
However because it is so difficult to make, very few companies choose to manufacture it and those that do charge sometimes astronomical sums.
“When I showed my new Tourbillon to a master watchmaker in Birmingham’s jewelry quarter, he declared that if made in Switzerland it would cost between 10 and 20 thousand pounds! What a surprise it was to him when I announced that my automatic tourbillon was only £1000!
